Time management:
Do you know how to live your life? Because if you do not it means that you’re having problems managing your time. As you can see, time is not something tangible within reach or that can be bought. Our school makes us work on time management… or at least they try. Let me tell you how not managing and organizing your time and forming a schedule can lead to a total disaster. In my school, there is a big project called the personal project that is known to be one of the hardest projects known to our education. The school gives you a whole year to complete your project either it’s a creation, an essay or to organize an event. Clearly you have a whole year for a reason, you have to do everything by yourself. That does not mean the school will not give you other schoolwork for a year, on the contrary, they give you hard work to do. So you were obligated to organize your time to survive this year. Although everyone left the personal project to the last minute, it kind of taught us the way to manage your time.
Let me tell you some steps to follow to be able to organize your time. First of all you must have a schedule with the squares and write what you have to do for the day then cross what you finished. Well I think that’s all there is to it, but you only have to do what is written there without any laziness. Me, I write them on my hand so I don’t lose the paper, but that is your choice.
Now a day, some technologies help with organizing your time especially the apple company. In their products they put applications that help you manage your time, like for example in the I-phone and the I-Pad you can fine two applications that will certainly help which are the notes and the to do list. This also encourages the young technologies lovers to be organized and to easily manage their time. And no life can be lived without organization and time management or else there will be chaos and disaster so now, what do you think? Do you know hot to live your
Book report

I read a very interesting book that shares a lot of feelings, emotions and messages. I would love to share that with you because you might like it just like I do, and it might help you and its message might also be useful to you. That outstanding book is the one and only lord of the flies by William Golding.
First of all, what inspired me to read this book is the name “lord of the flies” it sounds like a super hero comic or something of that sort, in addition to the cover picture which is a kid with leafs in his hair and bugs on his arm.
The book is about a plain with a bunch of kids on it that crashed into an unknown island. The kids didn’t know what to do because well they are just kids. So they voted and they decided to make a kid named Ralph they’re leader. Ralph was more mature than the other kids so he put rules and commandments for kids to follow so they can live and decided to live on fruits and vegetables and to pee in the rocks near the beach and to have some sort of conference to discuss what they wanted. One of the kids, Jack, got sick of Ralph’s rules and jus couldn’t accept him as a leader anymore so he just voted against him and decided to form his own group. That group was more vicious and cruel, they decided to hunt for their food and to just live wildly. It ended up in disaster and Ralph’s group deceased him and left him alone with the fat asthmatic kid with glace which they called piggy. They stole Piggy’s glace to make fire and mistakenly killed a boy because they thought he was a monster. When Ralph and his partner went to speak with Jack to find a solution they killed Piggy but Ralph managed to run away. They torched the forest and kept searching for Ralph to kill him but failed. The smoke that was coming out of the forest was seen by a passing boat and went there right away and saved these kids.
Personally, I think this is a magnificent book that must be read by all the kids and adults as it holds so many lessons. Some of the messages learned are that one must care for his child and teach him the ways of life and how to live in the woods, so he knows what to do in such a situation, that violence is never a way of solving anything or proving anything to anybody, and that evolving is not based on power yet it is based on intelligence and finding solutions and also another lesson is to never give up on life because there is always a solution and that life always gets better. The book has many more lessons that can not be written or said in words, yet the thing I did not understand in the book is the relation between the book and it’s title, I mean there is nothing in the book that has any relation with flies.
Prison or money

They say that there are things that cannot be bought like love, happiness, respect, loyalty, is freedom one of those things or can it be simply bought? The Egyptian ex-president was put in jail with his company thieves and hypocrites for stealing the money of the poor people, the people who trusted them to get their rights, to have their backs, to protect them and their families, the poor people who followed their orders just to live in peace and quite, yet they still did nothing but torture them and steal their money and rights, they killed their loved ones in front of them and they couldn’t say a word, they did everything they could to stay away from touching the rich people yet did everything they could ever think of to torture the ones that didn’t have money to eat or drink, to torture the ones that have so many children they can’t feed or get them clothes to wear. These tyrants did more than that, they demanded money from the people who couldn’t pay their rent just for their own goods. Once the revolution took place, they all wanted to flee into another county where they can not be touched, they wanted to escape justice that they thought they would never meet just to live a happy life with the money the kept stealing from the people but they got caught before they were able to escape. Now, you can find them in prison, sitting there like no prisoner ever sat before, they turned their prison cells into heaven, they got everything they need in there, where is justice? Can this too be bought? It has been a year since they were put in prison, yet no judgment have been yet given, how can they be so negligent? Is Egypt so cheep that it can be bought by some prisoners? Is the Egyptian blood so easy to throw away carelessly? Will they stay in prison or will they be judged on their actions? Or can freedom be simply bought?

The qualities of a good friend

Now this is one of my favorite posts but there’s not much to say in it, since the quality of a good friend are hard to be found. Everyone has a best friend that he can always count on and that he thinks he’s the perfect friend with the perfect qualities. But let me tell you something. A good friend with good qualities is very hard to find since a friend can affect you in a way you may like or you may not, for example if the friend you’re counting on and trusting is a bad friend he will affect you in a way that you will become like him and he will simply misguide you. But if this friend is good he will lead you to the right path and help you through the tough times.

Let me tell you what, to me I conceder a good friend. Personally, I think that a good friend should be truthful, wise, comprehensive, smart in case you need him to do you your homework, kidding. A good friend should always be truthful and never lies to you, he must also be friendly and help you though the tough times and help you when you’re in need of help. He should also be kind and forgiving not to forget he must also be gentile. He should also laugh with you when you’re happy and care about you when you’re sad, which means that he shouldn’t enjoy your sadness and get sad about your happiness. He should also guide you when he finds you lost and by this I don’t mean roads and streets. He should also care about you and make sure you’re safe and doing the right things.

And that’s not all what a good friend should have. That’s just a sample of the things he have. And if you do have a good friend with good qualities you will know what I’m talking about, and if you don’t know what I’m talking about then you have a lot of searching to do.

Constitution

Constitution. I think I heard this word before, but what does this word really mean? Well, according to the dictionary, constitution is the way in which a thing is composed, another one says, the act of constituting or state of being constituted. Okay to be honest I didn’t understand a word from what I just wrote. But according to the most used source of information ever used, the internet, constitution is the instruction book of how things happen. It is a document designed to protect our freedom by imposing law on those who wield political power.

There are a lot of constitutions that happened over the time but I think that the first one that ever happened was the constitution of the kingdom of Hawaii in 1840. This constitution was the first fully written constitution in Hawaii and this version of the Constitution established a constitutional monarchy subjecting even the king to certain principles of democracy.

For Egypt 2011 was a very hard year, we keep saying it was a perfect revolution and people keep staying in the Tahrir square as if it was their home. I think this kind of behavior in not acceptable and it is what’s bringing this county down. As for the beginning of a new year we all want to know what is yet to come to Egypt, will it rebuild its constitution or will they just get a new president to put things together.

I think, from my own point of view, that the last president and the last constitution wasn’t well built since we haven’t had one fair election in 30 years but I hope that for now a new president is yet to come and build a new constitution, this president must be strict, fearless and must also know the right thing to do so he can bring Egypt out of its shell and make it rise again upon the world.

Globalization

Globalization? What is this abstract concept? In fact, globalization defines a phenomenon that aims to achieve a sort of world homogeneousness. How is that even possible? Humans were blissed with the gift of a mind to be unique and create new thing regularly.

Obviously, creating uniformity in the world can be seen as a pejorative or meliorate concept, it depends on how we see things. On a positive side, globalization gives the chance for developing countries to advance and prosper their economy, which is off course a good thing! On the negative side, this notion precludes the fact that each country has its own culture which is what makes each state unique. Also, if commerce was globalized, probably the powerful countries who possess considerable wealth will be the ones in control and this will create injustice toward the developing countries and can present them with problems.

From my point of view, globalization is more likely to be a negative theory that prevents individualism and each country having its own culture; can you imagine a world where we’re all the same?  I think it would be a very horrible thing and that is why I am against globalization but I do believe if it is used in the purpose of good (helping other countries grow and develop ) it would be a noble thing that I would encourage.

New Year's Eve.

New Year’s Eve, already? I can’t believe that an entire year has passed so quickly, truly time flies! A whole year of life has just passed, has it gone to waste? Did I use my time well? It’s weird how everyone else is planning their New Year’s Eve plans and I’m lying in bed asking myself these silly questions, but as I’ve come to learn every second in life is valuable life don’t give us me a guaranty that I’ll still be alive tomorrow. In consequence, I’m a person who believes that change is progress and that if a person doesn’t change he will never grow and achieve any type of greatness in life. That is why, each year I premeditated a New Year’s resolution list to preclude myself from being a placid person who wastes his life on nothingness!

Anyway, let me share with you some resolute decisions I took this year: Firstly, I shall no longer be lax or inadvertent in my studies, secondly I shall appreciate the blessing in my life such as my family, friends and privileges  and lastly, I will do my best to seize each opportunity of happiness I can grasp ! Obviously, words are pretty but as the saying says ‘Actions speak louder than words’ , I’m not the type of people who simply says something than neglects it the day after, my word is my commitment and I will do my best to keep these promises.

As for my hopes and ambitions for this upcoming year, I only wish that it be better than the last and that I avoid my mistakes of the past. Anyway, I’ve wasted enough time, its new year’s eve , it’s time to have fun, party hard , get drunk and score chicks. Kidding, I’ll probably just go watch some tv.
